FAQ´s
Hola amiga / amiga, here you will find some questions solved by us that may help you prepare your trip to Peru. We hope it is useful for you, but if you have any more, please let us know.
How do I book?
It is very simple, you just have to take a look at our website and choose your adventure. You must secure your place five hours in advance before departure.
When should I book my tour?
We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak travel periods and holidays. Last-minute requests can be challenging to confirm due to high demand and operational planning.
How many people will be there on my trip?
We keep our groups at a comfortable size to give you the freedom to explore, connect with your surroundings, and fully enjoy each moment. This allows our guides to offer more personalized attention and ensures a smoother, more immersive experience for everyone. With a maximum of 28 travelers per trip, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance between social energy and individualized care—never feeling rushed or lost in the crowd.
Are pickup services included?
Pickup services vary by tour and location. Details will be provided at the time of booking or in the confirmation message.
I want to travel alone, is that OK?
Whether you join with friends, a partner, or set off solo, our trips are designed for connection, adventure, and unforgettable shared moments. Many travelers start the journey on their own—often because friends have different budgets or travel styles—but finish it with new friendships that last a lifetime. From epic landscapes to shared laughs on the road, you’ll quickly feel part of a global travel family.
At Huacachina Oasis, we also offer the option to travel as a private group if you prefer a more exclusive experience. That said, our adventures are crafted for open-minded explorers, and we strongly encourage embracing the journey alongside fellow travelers from around the world.
Where are Huacachina and your meeting point located?
Huacachina is a unique desert oasis in southern Peru, near the city of Ica and about 4–5 hours south of Lima. Our tours meet at a designated point in the Huacachina oasis area (Viajero Hostel).
